The Edge Festival, DF Concerts’ corner of the Edinburgh Fringe, will run from 5 – 31 August,and feature a clutch of big names, including Dizzee Rascal, Mika and Plan B.

Also on the bill: Eels, Modest Mouse, Beirut, The Coral, The Divine Comedy, Doves and Feeder.

There’s a smattering of urban music joining Dizzee Rascal, with Jason Derulo, Professor Green and Tinchy Stryder on the bill, while there’s plenty of home-grown talent on display – long-established acts Steve Mason and Colin McIntyre (of course, respectively the mainstays of hit acts the Beta Band and Mull Historical Society) will join The Phantom Band, Pearl & The Puppets, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Kassidy, Broken Records, Amy MacDonald and Jon Fratelli.

There’s also The Low Anthem, Eli Paperboy Reed, Little Feat, General Fiasco, Tom Gray out of Gomez, Phoenix, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, Lauren Pritchard and Stornoway, as well as a SOMA night which will feature Slam, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip. And, Hallo Gallo 2010 features Krautrock composer Michael Rother and friends performing the songs of Neu!
