Deacon Blue and KT Tunstall are among the acts lined up to play at Party at The Palace this summer.
The two-day event, which takes place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August 2019, also features The Charlatans and Wet Wet Wet as headliners in what is the Linlithgow-based festival’s sixth incarnation.
Former Ultravox and PVC2 frontman Midge Ure is also on the bill, with ForeignFox, North Atlas and Primes among the acts playing on the second stage. However, upcoming Scottish indie act Tide Lines will perform on the main stage on the Saturday.
And there’s further nostalgia in the form of Roachford, Republica and Fun Lovin’ Criminals while The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club will also appear.
Deacon Blue frontman, Ricky Ross is looking forward to the band’s return to the festival, saying: “We’re delighted to be headlining the Sunday night of Party at the Palace. Since playing the first Party five years ago we hear it’s got bigger and better than ever and we can’t wait to perform in the great shadow of Linlithgow Palace again.”
