De Rosa, everyone’s favourite defunct Lanarkshire band, are to shake off this title by reforming. Details are sketchy, with a photo of the fivesome all together in one place and smiling the ‘evidence’ for the momentous news, but the band have since tweeted their intention to work together again.
The initially split occurred shortly after the band’s final release, Prevention, was voted Jockrock’s top album for the decade 2000-2009. However, there was inevitable disappointment when singer Martin John Henry’s debut solo album The Other Half of Everything was selected merely as best album of 2011.
Just to be contrary, Martin John Henry’s new single, Span, is out now on Gargleblast.
