Indie royalty pays Dundee a visit when Will Sergeant brings his book tour to the city.
The legendary Echo and the Bunnymen guitarist and founding member will appear on October 20th, tying in with the launch of his second memoir ‘Echoes’, which picks up on his story as the band hit the studio in Wye Valley to record their ground-breaking debut album, ‘Crocodiles’.
In the book Sergeant shares never-before-told anecdotes, including the heady Rockfield Studio sessions and touring across the US, playing sold-out shows at Whisky a Go Go and experiencing the iconic New York club scene from dusk ’til dawn.
And he will recount these in an In Conversation event at Beat Generator Live, on North Lindsay Street. Andy Wood will be asking the questions, followed by an audience Q&A and the evening will end with a book signing, with copies of both Will’s memoirs on sale.
Advance tickets for the event are available online now.
