Edinburgh music social club, Born To Be Wide, is hosting a series of festival ‘taster’ sets at the city’s Electric Circus on Thursday 5 August. The night will feature ten-minute sets by acts performing during the coming month including Meursault, Stanley Odd, Carrie Mac and Emily Scott.
There will also be DJ sets from the likes of the BBC’s Vic Galloway, Avalanche Record shop owner Kevin Buckle, the owners of venues Cabaret Voltaire, Sneaky Pete’s and Electric Circus, and John Paul Mason [Is This Music?], David Pollock [Journalist] and Mark Robertson [Edinburgh International Festival].
