Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival has been canceled, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The organisers, “with an extremely heavy heart”, announced that the 17th incarnation of the annual event would not be possible, citing “the health and safety of our Belladrum Family, staff, suppliers and local community as the number one priority.”

Among the acts due to perform at the event, near Beauly, from 30 July to 1 August were Nile Rodgers & Chic, Emeli Sande, Shed Seven, Stiff Little Fingers, Tide Lines (pictured), and Passenger.

All 2020 ticket holders will get the option to transfer their tickets to the 2021 event, to be held on the 29th, 30th & 31st July. Music fans who are unable to make the 2021 festival will be offered a full refund for all tickets purchased.

The organisers added: “Stay safe, look after each other, and we look forward to welcoming you back next year to the biggest and best Bella yet. Updates on line up and programme will follow in due course.

Lots of love from a heartbroken Team Bella”.
