Top Paisley-based label Armellodie Records are diversifying into promotions, with a regular night at Glasgow’s burgeoning indie-hub, Bar Bloc. The cleverly-monickered ‘Barmellodie’ nights will run, monthly, and showcase acts from the label, plus DJs.
The label’s founders will appear in their dayjob guise, as Le Reno Amos headline the first show, accompanied by Douglas Firs and Battery Face, with Elba Sessions DJs. That’s on Friday 21st January, while the second gig, on February 18th, features The Scottish Enlightenment, Thirty Pounds of Bone and Randolph’s Leap (plus Glasgowpodcast on the decks).
