DF Concerts’ mainman Geoff Ellis has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from UK trade publication Music Week and the UK Festival Awards.

The award recognises Ellis’ efforts in helping the Scottish live music market to grow over the past two decades. DF of course promote hundreds of gigs per year, from 300-capacity shows at King Tut’s to stadium shows at Hampden Park and Murrayfield, as well as T In The Park and even overseeing preparations for this year’s papal visit.
