Edinburgh venue Sneaky Pete’s has announced a lineup of shows which should help fill the gap in Edinbyurgh’s August music calendar previously served by Planet Pop, Tigerfest, The Edge and T on The Fringe.
The Cowgate venue has a pretty much nightly lineup which starts in earnest on Friday 10th August with a gig by SAY nominees Happy Particles. Jesus H Foxx and Ryan Vail are also on the bill.

Other highlights are Zane Lowe fave Bobby Tank on the 12th, Chemikal Underground’s electropop sensation Miaoux Miaoux on 18th Aug, and Idlewild guitarist Rod Jones on the 24th Aug. On the 28th it’s Chemikal Underground’s rock sensations Holy Mountain, along with We Came From The North, and on the 30th Tango In The Attic are on with Pronto Mama.
Last of the month (the 31st) sees PAWS with appear alongside Eagulls . However, the lineup continues into September and beyond with shows from Amusement Parks On Fire, Cancel The Astronauts, Cave Painting, and LuckyMe. Full listings at www.sneakypetes.co.uk.
