One for our friends in the south – or anyone in Brighton on May 8th / 9th. Six Scottish bands will play at The Great Escape 2014 at a Creative Scotland-supported showcase.
Prides, Honeyblood, Baby Strange, Leon T Pearl, Neon Waltz and RM Hubbert will take to the stage at two ‘Showcasing Scotland’ gigs on Thursday 8 May and Friday 9 May at The Dome Studio Bar.
The Great Escape runs from 8 – 10 May and will see over 400 up-and-coming acts play 35 venues in front of up to 20,000 music fans including as amany as 3,000 industry delegates. It’s kind of In The City with sunshine, for older readers.
Other Scottish acts performing at the festival include Casual Sex, Twin Atlantic, The Xcerts, Hidden Orchestra and The Amazing Snakeheads.
