Scotland will have another date on its busy festival calendar with the addition of Mugstock. Taking place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th August in Mugdock Country Park, the new event by Milngavie near Glasgow has confirmed Orkestra Del Sol, Preston Reed and Mammal Hands as part of its initial lineup.
Mugdock Park has two castles and ancient woodland and therefore should be an ideal setting for an event promising performance, workshops, local musicians and international headliners. Organisers, who include a familiar name in Alan Govan (formerly of indie act Albino) expect around 2,000 attendees, and are looking to raise more working capital via an Indiegogo fundraiser. There’s also some chat with him at stv.tv).
