Craig B – founder of Aereogramme and The Unwinding Hours – returns after a bit of a hiatus with a new release, under the moniker A Mote Of Dust.

Named after a Carl Sagan quote reflecting the insignificance of humankind, the ‘project’ – recorded by Paul Savage at Chem19 and featuring Craig himself plus regular piano/bass for hire Graeme Smillie – releases a self-titled debut album on October 2nd.

Coming as a limited edition of 1000 copies on heavyweight 180g vinyl as well as digitally (but not CD!) the eight tracks are on the resurrected Babi Yaga Records – which, as well as releasing the first two Aereogramme singles, were also responsible for Biffy Clyro’s first CD single, ‘Iname’.

The album can be pre-ordered here, and there’s a Brendan Smith-directed video for ‘Wolves In The Valley’ available now.
