Following the bombshell that The Aphrodisiacs had reformed, more noughties musical news follows with the news that Lapsus Linguae are to release their first material since 2002.
The neo-classical post-metallers comeback will be marked by a single, ‘Ghosts’ – set for release, aptly enough, on Hallowe’en. Containing three tracks spanning 18 minutes, the EP will be available as a download – and also as a 12″ picture disc. That’s getting funded by a Kickstarter campaign closing at 2 minutes to midnight on October 7th and limited to the first 300 people to pay a tenner (which will get them a mention in the credits as well as a copy of the single plus download).

There are other Kickstarter categories – the “bog scrubber” level at £2 gets you “exclusive access
to exclusive footage” (whatever the flip that means) while the more straightforward “Euro millions winner” guarantees you an acoustic album about your life performed in your home (and comes in at £5000).
