Franz Ferdinand are joining forces with quirky fraternal duo Sparks to form a new supergroup, FFS.

The six-member outfit are to bring out an album produced by John Congleton (Modest Mouse, Marilyn Manson). Before that, they will embark on a short European tour, including a debut show at the Art School in Glasgow on June 16th as well as a Benicassim appearance. Tickets for the GSA gig go on sale on Friday 13th March.
Franz have long been admirers of the Mael brothers, and Alex Kapranos recently took to the stage at a Sparks show in LA to perform vocals on ‘When Do I Get To Sing My Way‘.
