Indie promoters Detour celebrate six years of putting on free shows in unusual locations with a week of gigs in November.
Include in the lineups are Bdy_Prts, Happy Meals, Bossy Love and Hidden Charms, but, as per the nature of Detour, many more acts are yet to be announced, many on the nights of the shows in question.
Among these mysterious events is the opening show, in conjunction with Sofar, another promoter with a love of odd and unexpected venues.
The week moves on with a free Bdy_Prts show at Glasgow’s Bloc on Tuesday in conjunction with the TCYI collective.
Wednesday 25th is in partnership with GoldFlakePaint at The Poetry Club, Glasgow, and bands on the bill are Happy Meals, HQFU and Clip Art.
Thursday 26th sees the intrepid team take a trip to Edinburgh, with Yak and Hidden Charms heading for Sneaky Pete’s.
On Friday 27th, along with Synergy Concerts, it’s Bossy Love plus support at The Hug and Pint in Glasgow, and the final show in on Saturday, and appropriately, it’s another mystery gig.
