- Originally an offshoot of Fenn,
LFK have an incredible
mix of pop tunes and exotic instruments in their armoury,
Luke Sutherland's bittersweet lyrics take racism
and homophoboia to task while still allowing the listener
to tap a foot. Oh, and there's their Mark E. Smith/Festive
50 tune 'Heads of Dead Surfers' plus a trio of albums
named after tragic hero/ines of the 20th century.
-
- Depressingly, the best band
in Scotland split December
1997, but Sutherland has re-emerged with BOWS.
