Fighting that post-rock fight... sorry, fighting against post-rock. Well, against being bundled into that convenient pigeonhole at least. Laeto's album has some tricky rhythms and complex time sigs, but the intensity of their live performances should convince the hasty-to-judge that there's more to this lot than another Mogwai (there it is) copyist band. For starters, quiet bits are pretty rare, which has got to be a Good Thing.
