Wide Days has thrown its ears open to applicants for its series of showcase events at the annual music conference, which takes place in Edinburgh on April 9th – 10th.

Three slots at the gigs, which will place at The Pleasance Theatre, Sneaky Pete’s and The Electric Circus, are available to Scottish-based acts which meet certain criteria and who will then be considered by a panel of industry experts.

Wide Days‘ full music lineup is still to be announced, although there is one keynote speaker in place, in the form of John Langford, director of concerts, events and ticketing (but not catering) at The Hydro.

The deadline for applications is 5pm, on Friday February 14th, at which point the selectors will decide which acts they love the most (see what we did there?)
