Despite this year’s event cancelled for obvious reasons, the Wide Days music conference is still going ahead – virtually.

On Friday April 24th – its originally planned date – the organisers of the Edinburgh-based event have set up an afternoon of sessions and socials.

beginning at 1.30pm, it will features a webinar on getting the most of TikTok, followed by an interactive workshop covering subjects such as online live performances, useful tech platforms and income sources.

That will be followed by an interview with veteran booking agent Steve Zapp, who represents Biffy Clyro, Fatherson, Declan Welsh and Editors among others.

The day will be completed by a music quiz followed by the chance to socialise and have a (virtual) pub session afterwards.

The event also includes a chat room giving delegates the chance to meet up with the people they usually encounter at these industry events.

Attendance is free, and anyone wishing to go along shouldsign up here.
