Born To Be Wide, Edinburgh-based music social club and now, increasingly, a country-wide educator, has announced another Off The Record day. It takes place on Saturday 1st March at Platform, Easterhouse, in Glasgow and features workshops for young musicians and those interested in working in the music business.

The series of workshops and seminars for 14-235-year-0olds interested in working in the music industry is in conjunction with the Scottish Government’s Youth Music Initiative (YMI) via Creative Scotland and includes speakers from MILK Glasgow, EMUbands, Optimo, We Were Promised Jetpacks management, and DJ Jim Gellatly.

Tickets, a bargain £2 (especially as this includes lunch, and a £25 EMUbands online release) should be bought in advance from www.offtherecord.me, or from the Platform box office (at The Bridge, 1000 Westerhouse Road).
