The Scottish Music Industry Association is advertising for a campaign producer to look after this year’s Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award.
The short-term appointment will involve looking after the SAY Award, won last year by Sacred Paws, as it enters its seventh year – overseeing the project, running the campaign and the Award Ceremony event itself.
The Campaign Producer post will be required from March—September 2018, taking in the Longlist launch period in late July 2018, and the Award Ceremony at the end of August 2018.
The successful candidate will have to attract funding/sponsorship, liaise with stakeholders (especially Renfrewshire Council), oversee the promotion of the award nominees including to the media, and coordinate publicity – all within budget.
For what is a large and responsible task, the salary (fee) is up to £7,000 (based on 35 days at £200 per day).
The deadline is February 28th – full details on applying can be found at www.smia.org.uk/sayproducer.
