Music social networking night Born To Be Wide has another couple of events in its Off The Record series, offering workshops for young musicians and aspiring music biz professionals.
These are on Saturday 28th June at the Palace Theatre in Kilmarnock and Sunday 29 June at Edinburgh’s Roxy Assembly.
Off The Record is open to anyone aged between 14-25, with the Kilmarnock featuring Jim Gellatly, Fatherson’s Marc Strain, Glasgow Podcart’s Halina Rafai, Ally Gray from digital distributor EmuBands and Richy Muirhead, founder of the Scottish Alternative Music Awards.
In Edinburgh, Tallah Brash from The Electric Circus and Andy Loban of Gerry Loves Records will be joined by Ally Gray with additional speakers to be announced. Olaf Furniss and Michael Lambert from Born To Be Wide will be on the panel at both events.
Admission to each event is £2 (including lunch) and tickets must be bought in advance from www.offtherecord.me, or in person from the Palace Theatre (9 Green Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 3BN) or Tickets Scotland (127 Rose St, Edinburgh, EH2 3DT).
