Young and upcoming musicians in Scotland can get some useful advice at Off The Record – an event series for young musicians and those who want to work in the music industry.

Open to under-25s, the all-day event takes place on Saturday, December 9th at Edinburgh’s South Bridge Resource & Education Centre.

There’s also a series of round table discussions:

Songwriting and Craft: with Ross Leighton (Fatherson) and Charlotte Brimner (Be Charlotte)

Getting Gigs: advice from Nicky Carder (‘Skjør’ management / Beyond Presents), Chris Beltran (DF Concerts) and Pelochita Peliz (Serendipity / Sofar Sounds)
