Motherwell/Glasgow shamblepop legends The Hector Collectors release a live album which captures the band in their glorious heyday.

Recorded at the Wee Red Bar, Edinburgh, in mid-June 2012, the 11-track opus ‘University Challenge’ is available as a pay-what-you-think-it’s-worth download.

The band on the archive desk recording are almost the classic lineup – Adam Smith, Iain Smith, Joe Greatorex and Gavin Dunbar, joined on the first track by Duncan Robertson and Chris Elkin.

The recording was then mixed by Dave Gillies at Mechabradypus Studios and mastered by Tommy Duffin at 16 Ohm.
