John McCusker releases album ‘Hello, Goodbye’ on Under One Sky Records.

The album celebrates the musician’s 25th Anniversary and is the first on his own label as well as being the first to be recorded in his new studio – constructed over the last two years in a bothy dating from 1779 near his Borders home and designed by Blue Nile producer Calum Malcolm.

The album features a variety of famous names including James Mackintosh (Shooglenifty, The Blue Nile, James); Ewen Vernal (Deacon Blue, Capercaille); Ian Carr (Eddi Reader, Julie Fowlis, Swap); Michael McGoldrick (Mark Knopfler, Capercaille, Sharon Shannon); Andy Cutting (The Who, June Tabor); Phil Cunningham, and acclaimed Irish singer Heidi Talbot.

McCusker has a couple of Scottish dates lined up:

May 09 Paisley – Arts Centre
