West of Scotland music fans who take a trip doon the watter can hear 40-odd bands and musicians at the inaugural Go-Rock Resfival.
The all-day event, taking place in venues in Gourock on Saturday April 12th, focuses on new and unsigned musicians from a variety of genres. Alongside indie acts Scott McWatt, Life on Standby and Whispery Club on the lineup are Radio Forth ‘One to Watch’ winner Megan D and modern soprano Nicola Cassells.

The DIY-style festival also aims to give students and graduates practical experience, via the music department of West College Scotland Greenock will be staging a venue takeover at the festival.

Any profits from the event will be donated to Nordoff-Robbins Scotland
