OK, we’re late – just as well there were no shows of note earlier this week! (Apart from Dino Jr on Wednesday night, but it was sold out anyway, so no point in rubbing it in).

Netsounds Takeover at Mad Hatters, Inverness on Thursday 31st January has Garden Of Elks (rather agreeable last week at Henry’s) and The Little Mill Of Happiness

In Edinburgh, on Friday 1st, Fat Goth return to the Electric Circus to punt their rather spiffy new album Stud.

A cornucopia of shows on the same night in Glasgow – Donny Osmond at the SECC, The Creeping Ivies at Nice’n’Sleazy, and Trembling Bells at the Glad Cafe, and Grandmaster Flash at the O2 ABC.

Saturday night has electro noise terrorists Battery Face at the 13th Note, and on Sunday, Glen Hansard (of Frames fame as well as an Oscar-winner for Once, at the Old Fruitmarket.

So, anyway, Friday in Edinburgh will look a bit like this…
