Two Cocteau Twins albums have been given the re-press / re-release treatment by 4AD Records.

Following last year’s ‘Blue Bell Knoll’ and ‘Heaven or Las Vegas’ reissues, the Grangemouth trio’s combined EPs ‘Tiny Dynamine’ / ‘Echoes In A Shallow Bay’ plus early-80s compilation ‘The Pink Opaque’ are similarly made available again.

The two EPs were originally released two weeks apart in November 1985, preceding the band’s fourth long-player Victorialand. 180g vinyl pressings have been created from HD transfers form the original analogue tapes, and high-definition downloads are also available.

‘The Pink Opaque’ was a 1986 ‘best-of’ in an attempt to capitalise on success on US college radio, remixing favourites such as ‘Pearly-Dewdrops’ Drops’ and ‘Aikea-Guinea’, as well as ‘Millimillenary’, the first track to feature new band member Simon Raymonde.
