11th July 2010

Edinburgh’s Liquid Room is set to re-open, just in time for the Edinburgh festival period. The Victoria Street venue has been closed since December 2008 when a fire in the restaurant upstairs led to severe flood damage.

Following the reopening of the gig venue, a new basement clubbing area will be developed to open at a future date.

The re-opening show will be a ‘Best of the Mine’ gig on August 1st, compered by radio’s Jim Gellatly and featuring The 10:04′s, Underclass, Hagana, Marner Brown and A Fight You Can’t Win.

However, on Friday 30th, legendary Edinburgh club Evol returns to the Liquid Room.
