Fight pop pioneers Dananananaykroyd have announced that they are to split following their current UK tour, the excitement of getting their first album review in is this music? presumably too much for them to take.

A statement read “We’re very keen… to make sure we’re never compromising or giving anything less than 100% and at this juncture of our collective lives, it makes sense to go out with a bang – which is exactly what this tour will be.”

While the precise reasons for the split are unclear, speculation is rife that with the members having time on their hands, it could lead to the reformation of Sputniks Down and The Boy Cartographer, two of Scotland’s best-loved acts of the early noughties.

Final Dans single ‘Think and Feel’ will be released on November 7th. Think and Feel by WorkItMedia
