Glasgow’s Chemikal Underground record label are to be he subject of a new documentary – and local music fans are being asked to help contribute to the film.
Independent Dublin-based production company Still Films are looking for material from the Glasgow music scene of the ‘90s.
Videos, photos, flyers, posters and ticket stubs are all sought, especially pics of bands, live shows, parties (after parties, gaff parties, club nights, DJs, record shops etc). The makers are also interested images of the city in the 1990s.
There’s also interest in a small music festival in Mauron, France, in 1997 where Mogwai, The Delgados and Arab Strap played. Titled ‘Ils ne Mauron Pas’, any punters who attended that would be of great interest to the filmmakers.
