Former Delgado Alun Woodward has re-emerged with an album ‘Music From Battle Mountain’.

The release – a limited edition LP on the Chemikal Underground label – is the soundtrack to a documentary about Scottish cyclist Graeme Obree.

The film premiered at last summer’s Edinburgh Film Festival and is about to embark on a two month tour of UK screenings with director David Street and Obree himself taking part in Q&A sessions. FOllowing a run of dates south of the border, it appears on May 1st at the GFT in Glasgow and the following night at Edinburgh’s Cameo.

The soundtrack, out on April 8th, is Woodward’s first release in seven years, following up a self-titled solo album under his Lord Cut Glass monicker.
